[asterisk-users] LED does not glow on new Voicemail

There is a known issue with realtime and the MWI.

*NOTE:* If you enable RealTime caching in your sip.conf, Voicemail MWI works
and so does 'sip show peers' - see rtcachefriends=yes


I would start with that.  Let us know if it doesn't work.
