[asterisk-users] problems with Polycom 500 boot up

The password doesn't seem to be the problem as it is seeing the FTP server
and actually downloading the bootROM and just has a problem updating the
bootROM. How do I check the existing bootROM version on the phone?

Check the EXISTING BootROM on the phone. You can't usually downgrade
Also check the password configured for the FTP user on the phone.
