[asterisk-users] Re: Really bad phone line.. possible causes?

In 1.6.x firmwares, I press menu-2-2-3-2 to see call statistics, (your 
firmware may differ of course), or from the asterisk CLI you could hit
sip show peer sip_user
eg
sip show peer 112
...
Codecs      : 0x4 (ulaw)
Codec Order : (ulaw)
...
