[asterisk-users] Encrypted password for voicemail

The secret will still only be digits but encrypted
with Asterisk's public key. For a HW phone it is a
problem (unless there's a slot for a USB or CF card),
but for soft phones it shouldn't be a problem to
obtain the server's public key. Otherwise, the key may
just be retrieved from a central repository.
