[Asterisk-Users] Any IP phones with pro-audio connections?

I could not find anything so I whipped up something myself using an
M-Audio FireWare Box, It gives my 4 distinct analog audio channels as
well as two inputs. It also has SPDIF (optical and Coax). I then paired
it with the SNOM softphone. I am also able to record to an external DAT
or MD, or feed it back in using an other channel and record to any
format. I use a Good Quality AKG 414 for my side and the quality is
awesome, It comes with its own mixer so I use one of the sends to drve
the input of the Snom and then take the return of the snom into a
channel. That way I (near side) sounds great and the other side sounds
like you would expect.

I though about using a hardphone but when ever I hooked it up to an
external mixer using a 1/8 inch (Grandstream GX-2000 has a TRS connector
for a headset) I would get a nasty buzz, not a ground loop but probably
from the power supply. They may have fixed it by now, or you could use
a high quality 5VDC external power supply, but that is at your own risk.

Good luck, and if you need anymore help fell free to contact me
off-list.

Alex
