Not true. The polycom's will let you forward an incoming call, for that call only. When a new call comes in, the phone is not forwarded anymore. The phone sends a 'Moved Temporarily' back to Asterisk, which re-enters the dialplan as Local. If someone transfers the call, the phone sends a REFER to Asterisk, who sets rdnis and re-enters the dialplan again as Local.
