The following configuration in /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf helps:

[options]
silence_suppression=yes 

Thank's to a post of Dan Austin on this list.

The messages on the console are still there, but You can disable this
message by lowering the verbosity below 9. The sound is ok now.
