I am running 1.2.1 and works for me.
exten => _86.,1,Macro(directedPickup) ; Direct Pickup
[macro-directedPickup]
exten => s,1,Pickup(${MACRO_EXTEN:2});
Remember that the *8 in your features.conf has nothing to do with direct
pickup. So in your case try replacing _86. with _*8. but I don't know
if that will cause problems.
