> This is actually perfectly normal behavior depending on what sort of NAT is in place and what happened. Essentially what IAX2 does is before actually transferring the connection directly, it will make sure that it will work. The IAXy talks to Teliax, and Teliax talks to the IAXy. What happened is that they weren't able to talk directly to eachother so they kept the connection through your Asterisk machine.

Fair enough, but my IAXy should be able to talk directly to Teliax..  in fact, I just confirmed that. So what's up?
