Remco, the Sipura's support SIP reinvites when a FAX is detected...
"FAX Passthru Method: ReINVITE"
along with
"canreinvite=yes"
in your sip.conf peer.

I have a SPA-1001 dedicated for FAXing with an inexpensive Brother Fax-575.
Asterisk sets-up the call and then automatically reinvites around asterisk when
the fax tones are present.

I am suprised how well it works.
