Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does
/var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?)
Hi, im running asterisk as another user (user x group x), While trying
to attach to the console I get this error:
[root at centos keys]# asterisk -rvvvvvvvv
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?)
[root at centos keys]#
the file exists and it is:
srwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Apr 1 20:32 /var/run/asterisk.ctl
Suggestions?
