[Asterisk-Users] polycom dialplan

I have been having some trouble understanding the Polycom dialplan. I
would like the phone to put a 9 on the front of a 7 digit string such
that [2-9]XXXXXX becomes [9][2-9]XXXXXX. 

What do I need to do?
