[Asterisk-Users] Agent/Queue Scalability (Formerly: UPDATE - 512 Calls...)

What about ICD (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-ICD)? I haven't  
actually used it but from reading the docs, they have approached the  
Agent/Queue issues from a totally different angle. Maybe it overcomes  
what * may have a bottlenecks. Anyone know the status of this project?
