Hi,

I have attempted to set up a initially basic asterisk setup, comprising
1 x X100p and a TDM400P with TDM20B module.

This is built on Asterisk 1.0 stable build, using Andy Powell's guide
(http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm), on a Tao Linux Version 1.

My two Cisco 7940 phones (SIP ver 3-04-4-00) are plugged into the Cisco
837 router (4 ports), which is also dishing out DHCP, also plugged into
the router is my Asterisk server.

however I cannot seem to make a connection via my SIP setup, with the
lines on the phones are still showing X beside the phone icon, which is
stumping me as i cannot make or receive any calls.

Can anyone possibly point me towards a relevant guide? Or possibly point
towards any obvious mistakes that i might have made.

Thanks in advance.
