[Asterisk-Users] res_features: builtin monitor probs

If you use Monitor(), you can change all the preferences for that instance.

However, if you use the built-in monitoring capabilities, it seems that you
can't change anything. You are stuck with WAV and using somix.

Is there a way around this?

Our clients like the ability to simply press #7 to begin recording at their
leasiure.

Also, I just did some sample test records and the sound files I get are the
correct length, and large in size (indicating to me that there is audio) but
there is no audio when I play the file. Just 68 seconds of dead air.

Any ideas?
