[Asterisk-Users] OSS and ALSA

I've noticed that if I load the alsa drivers, I can't transfer from the
console.. Is that normal? It says the app is loaded, but when I type it
in, it says there's no such application 'transfer'.

I typically leave my console up on a transparent shell on my desktop and
use that instead of a sip or iax client connected to it (I don't have a
spare box to run asterisk on). Quite some time ago I was using the OSS
drivers just because I could get * to connect to jackd so I could have
asterisk show up in my jack patch panel and not worry about any sound
I/O blocking, and so I could simulate a getner phone patch system for
clients to have a studio patch while I record v/o's for them.

I went a different route with that though, so I switched over to the
alsa module and that's the only thing I notice missing is the transfer app.

Just wondering..

Ok, now it's time to go start yet another broadvoice thread :D
