In order for me to get the zaptel source to compile from cvs I need to:

1) Copy the .config file from the /boot directory to the source directory,
run menuconfig, and run make.

2) After I run make I can then compile the zaptel modules.

3) I don't need to install the new kernel, but just run the make command.

I also tried adding a symlink from /lib/modules/uname -r/build to the kernel
source directory.

I am fairly new to the 2.6 kernel, but something is telling me that I don't
even need to install the kernel-source anymore to compile modules. I know
that something changed from 2.4 to 2.6 in regards to compiling modules.
