Note that it's only a good idea if your system has MMX capabilities (and a 
P4), obviously.  :-)

I think I brought it back to life a little about a month or so ago but 
nothing's been done on it and I have to set up a test lab to really test 
anything that happens.  IIRC Steve said that it worked great a while back so 
something might have changed in the driver code to break it unintentionally.  
I'll have to start pulling specific CVS dates to see if I can find a version 
that works and then start backtracking.
