[Asterisk-Users] Incorrect FAX detection.

Several times a day, while a call is in progress, I get "zaptel Disabled
echo canceller because of tone (rx) on channel X" and echo cancellation
shuts off.

 

I do use fax detection to route calls to my fax extension. It seems to have
a 100% success rate. I heard a rumor about a patch that would disable echo
cancellation after the first few seconds of the call. Is there such a thing?
