You didn't mention what type of analog interface you're using, but
if it is an x100p or tdm digium card, you are probably seeing the
same problem that lots of us have seen. If you are using either of
those two cards, stop asterisk, reload the drivers, and restart
asterisk. Or, simply reboot the complete system.

If you're not using one of those two cards, then help us understand
your system. What OS? What * version? What analog interface? etc.

Sorry for inconvenience my specs are:
1- X100p clone card "Ambient Chip Intel Modem(FXO).
2- Asterisk CVS-v1-0-01/07/05-03:21:22 version.
3- CentOS release 3.3 (final). 
4- AMD ATHLON XP 2000+, MSI VIA chipset MB, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD.
However modprobe zaptel, modprobe wcfxo, ztcfg -vvv shows and loads ok
also starting and stoping asterisk doesn't effect.
Hope this helps you guys for better understanding my problem.
