This seems to me the ideal situation for using an embedded asterisk
installation, like a Soekris 4801 or WRAP board booting from CF. You
don't need much procesing power, just some simple dialplan logic and
the ability to go from SIP to IAX2 for trunking. There have been
multiple threads about embedded/v.small systems recently.
