Not that do it for my service provider (who is free) and poll my flavour
of router!

As far as I am aware if you use FQDN, this is resolved when asterisk is
started only?
I could be wrong! My DSL is up and down like you wouldn't believe at the
mo and 
Therefore the address is changing all the time after asterisk has been
started.
