[Asterisk-Users] Problems with zaptel.conf

Hello.

I am new to Asterisk but I have been reading like for a month all de
documentation and tutorials that i have found. Most of them from de
voip-info.org. Recently I set up an Asterisk server based on Debian
'Sarge' 3.1.

Everthing was looking fine. I even locate an old modem that would work
like a X100P Clone (an Ambient MD3200) and after compiling and
installing zaptel it is recognized as a "Wildcard FXO: Generic Clone".
At this point I compiled asterisk (libpri no) and use the 'make
samples' command to help me out with the configuration, then I edited
the next files:
    - extensions.conf
    - sip.conf
    - zapata.conf
    - zaptel.conf

The main configuration consists in:
   - 1 PSTN connection (the FXO card)
   - and 3 SIP extensions (softphones)

Well, the problem is that when I start asterisk it stops giving me the
next errors:

 [chan_zap.so] => (Zapata Telephony)
  == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf': Found
Aug 10 13:20:51 WARNING[1179]: chan_zap.c:890 zt_open: Unable to
specify channel 1: No such device or address
Aug 10 13:20:51 ERROR[1179]: chan_zap.c:6639 mkintf: Unable to open
channel 1: No such device or address
here = 0, tmp->channel = 1, channel = 1
Aug 10 13:20:51 ERROR[1179]: chan_zap.c:10019 setup_zap: Unable to
register channel '1'
Aug 10 13:20:51 WARNING[1179]: loader.c:403 __load_resource:
chan_zap.so: load_module failed, returning -1
Aug 10 13:20:51 WARNING[1179]: loader.c:543 load_modules: Loading
module chan_zap.so failed!

I dont know why this is happening, I configured the only posible
channel like this in zaptel.conf :
    Loadzone=mx
    defaultzone=mx
    fxsks=1

But if I comment fxsks=1 from the zaptel.conf, asterisks start pretty
well and my sip extensions work perfect. Well that's it, if anyone can
help me please it would be very appreciated.
