[Asterisk-Users] does SIP works behind the NAT

i tried to connect 2 iax servers and it worked well
but when i tried to connect 2 Sip servers in the iax
configuration (one behind the NAT and the other with
real IP) it failed and give me this:

Aug 10 23:25:47 WARNING[28013]: chan_sip.c:843
retrans_pkt: Maximum retries exceeded on call
4435f0885ce9874a0b6a1e642630a443 at 172.16.180.133 for
seqno 102 (Non-critical Response)

i think it is a NAT problem but i want to know how to
fix it.
