You're right. I can see how this would not be desirable with a CC app,
because there's no call tear-down control/record.
However, I use this method to dial into my * box, authenticate, and
then i thru-dial to the number I want to call to, and once the call is
established, I can turn the * box off, while the call remains
connected.
