[Asterisk-Users] Hangup after Transfer problem.

Folks;

I've put forth many many many hours into trying to identify this problem,
and finally I resolved to posting to the list for assistance here.

Asterisk CVS-HEAD-04/02/05-14:31:34 built by root at kjv.homeip.net on a i686
running Linux
(No, this is not the April Fools Windows Version ;-)

One would expect that after a blind transfer the call would go here.
exten => h,1

I have written a routine into the dial plan that is supposed to go to s,1
if a certain variable is set.

This routine works perfectly, and in fact after a blind transfer it goes to
s,1 and plays the prompt.

As soon as it is done playing the Background() it promptly hangs up.

What am I doing wrong?

See folks, the problem is that I have this set up so that I call in via
remote, get DISA, call out to an extension or telephone number and wish to
transfer them into either a MeetMe conference, or to a different
extension... And I have to keep dialing back into the system every time I
transfer, which is a real pain in the back side.

Please respond directly as this list is litterally brimming with traffic,
and aside from delving into the code for the dial application I don't know
what else I can do to rectify this behavior.

Other than that, this asterisk thing is pretty cool... I've already gotten
10 people actively running it, and constructing their own dial plans. And
yes.... They all bought their hardware from Digium.

Best Regards,
