 Hmmmph! What does your network look like? You say "No FW", but could a
 router block inbound communication? Just checking, as you appear to be
 running two different networks/interfaces (10.0.0.2 and 216.110.117.54).

 Is one an alias for the other? Or is the 216 address your router, the
 10 a system behind the router? Are both addresses assigned to two
 different interfaces in the same box? Getting curious here :-) It appears
 your 216 address is at least pingable from here.
