Thanks for the tip.

Zapata.conf:

dring1=325,0,0
dring1context=buzzer
dring2=95,95,0
dring2context=default
;dring3=95,95,95
;dring3context=local

Here is my 'default' dial:
exten => s,5,Dial(Zap/3,30,r2&SIP/5551234,30,r2)


When I try dialing in, it ends up just ringing as normal no matter 
what I do.

Verbose output doesn’t show anything of interest either.

I'm assuming you want to _send_ distinctive ringing to the FXS 
port...i.e. make the phone ring differently.

If so, just put r1, r2, r3 or r4 at the end of your dial line in 
extensions.com (before the closing brackets).
