[Asterisk-Users] Dialing a # in phone number?

I found the answer to the problem I was having with Asterisk, an X100P, 
a Cell Socket with Nokia phone and dialing the # character.  It wasn't a 
problem with the # character at all - the problem was that I had the 
txgain set to -4.5 (which was working well on an analogue phone line).  
I changed this to 1.0 and that fixed it.  The only other thing I had to 
do was put a leading pause into the number being dialed by the X100P to 
give the cellsocket some time to get ready to receive the DTMF digits.

My Dial command for this is:

exten => _08XXXXXXXX,1,Dial(Zap/1/w${EXTEN}#)

(In Ireland all mobile numbers start with 08 followed by 8 digits).

The cellsocket now is working very well and I'm saving myself money 
routing daytime mobile calls through a mobile phone rather than through 
land lines.
