I am experiencing a rather strange problem.
exten => s,1,Answer
exten => s,2,Background(welcome)
... other auto attendant stuff ...
will result in the calling party not getting any audio (neither
ringing feedback nor IVR audio) if callling in from the PSTN on an
X100P.
However ...
exten => s,1,Dial(SIP/1000,5,r)
exten => s,2,Answer
exten => s,3,Background(welcome)
... other auto attendant stuff ...
works just fine in the very same scenario (PSTN caller coming in on X100P).
I have also tried Wait(5) and Ringing followed by Wait(5) but those
don't help. The caller will only get audio if an actual phone is left
ringing for at least five seconds. Otherwise the following
autoattendent will not be heard by the caller.
This is quite annoying because this particular auto-attendant was
meant to be quiet.
signalling on the FXO is fxs_ks, callerid detection is off, busydetect is on.
Has anybody seen this sort of thing? Any ideas?
thanks
