[Asterisk-Users] IAXy - anyone using them yet?

We got ours on Friday and we already have it working through two restrictive
firewalls(much easier to poke holes with only one UDP port to worry about).
It uses about 75Kb of bandwidth and the audio is pretty good.

We have been able to move it from network to network(set at DHCP) without
reprovisioning and it always registers to it's home asterisk server. We also
were able to re-provision it for Static IP and back to DHCP with no problem.

Not really sure what that reset button is for, it doesn't seem to really do
anything.

This is a really great ATA adapter, but it isn't exactly feature-rich at
this point in time.

Here's my IAXy features wishlist:
- basic network programming from phone interface(like Sipura and Cisco ATAs)
   - at the very least a little debug message that will speak you the IP
address
- basic web interface
- more codecs, like GSM
- some tiny holes drilled in the case somewhere for more ventilation
- version with second RJ45 for passthru ethernet and possibly even built-in
NAT(OK I know this is far off, but this is a "Wish-List")

Thanks to Digium for getting this to market so quickly.

I'm using an IAXy in my office for a cordless line, and it works very
well.
Don't waste your time using it for a fax line, and be sure you
re-provision
the device before moving it to another network.
I couldn't get the reset button to clear the existing data when I moved
it
from one office to another (10.1.1.x to 192.168.1.x) and had to
provision
it from my imac with a crossover cable :)
