That should only be needed if you build the tests as well as the
library. I use libaudiofile to handle wave files. If the library
requires it, I have made a mistake. I will check.

That is an error in the packaging. I will fix it on the FTP site today.

That should be correct. Note that you *do* need to use the newer
app_rxfax.c and app_txfax.c . The interface been spandsp and these
programs has changed, so you need the newer programs to work with the
newer spandsp. The new interface provides for proper reporting of the
results of FAX transfers.
