[Asterisk-Users] calls go silent

Zaptel, libpri, asterisk, all CVS from today (2004/11/08 noonish, HSV
time.) (Same thing happens with older CVS.)

After some time, which varies, audio fails to move in either direction.
I hear my own voice echoing back, at which point I know the call is no
longer usable. Call back and it works awhile again.

"asterisk -cvvv" shows nothing on either end. And this also happens
when the other end is a non-asterisk phone, so we know it's one
particular asterisk having the trouble.

Hardware is:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-751 [Irongate] System Controller (rev 25)
00:01.0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-751 [Irongate] AGP Bridge (rev 01)
00:07.0 ISA bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-756 [Viper] ISA (rev 01)
00:07.1 IDE interface: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-756 [Viper] IDE (rev 07)
00:07.3 Bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-756 [Viper] ACPI (rev 03)
00:07.4 USB Controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-756 [Viper] USB (rev 06)
00:0f.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado] (rev 78)
00:11.0 Communication controller: Tiger Jet Network Inc. Intel 537
00:12.0 Network controller: Tiger Jet Network Inc. Intel 537
00:13.0 Communication controller: Tiger Jet Network Inc. Intel 537
00:14.0 Unknown mass storage controller: Promise Technology, Inc. 20269 (rev 02)
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV6 [Vanta/Vanta LT] (rev 15)

Those are e159:0001 using "lspci -n". I'm not sure but I believe they
are the "E" revision cards and modules.

# ztcfg -vv

OS is Slackware 9.0, Linux 2.4.20.

Last week this was working! And honest-to-goodness, we are not aware of
anything else that has changed. Like I said, we did CVS today, but we
also tried reverting to the older one which had been running for quite
some time (since May I think) just fine.

Any advice as to what we should check will be greatly appreciated.
