I don't have any complaint about the Voice dying alltogether. Change the
Spiral cord between the handset and the Phone and try again. Usually
that is the problem. I had one such case before.
Also Uncheck the VAD(Voice Activity Detection).
VAD does not work well on many SIP phones that use Compression Codecs.

I wanted to ask you a question about this phone, which I have as well.
Do you find that the audio on the phone dies, as if someone cut the
speaker wire.?
I switch off and then back on, and it works fine again.
This happends every 2 days almost.
Just wannted to know if you have similar expereince.
