Because the support folks at digium said on Friday the supporting routines 
for the new fxo card are actually in wcfxs.

Okay, then let me reword this just for you.

Is there a problem with the asterisk "make install" process that
might be considered the root-cause for wcfxs not showing up
in lsmod?
