Hi John,

Is this what you are getting?
Mar  2 10:28:47 WARNING[245776]: chan_sip.c:4978 handle_response: Got 200 OK
on REGISTER that isn't a register

This is what I got too and I have been puzzled. I have tried all sorts of
thing by varying the register message with FWD and it is still appearing.

register=74928:mypassword at fwd.pulver.com:5060/74928

[fwd-74928]
context=sip
type=friend
secret=mypassword
username=74928
host=fwd.pulver.com
fromuser=74928
fromdomain=fwd.pulver.com
canreinvite=no

Anybody any ideas?

Also I get strange errors when receiving incoming FWD calls, it will be cut
off after a few seconds. The output on console would be:
    -- Executing Answer("SIP/74928-bef7", "") in new stack
    -- Executing Wait("SIP/74928-bef7", "1") in new stack
    -- Executing Playback("SIP/74928-bef7", "welcomemsg") in new stack
    -- Playing 'welcomemsg' (language 'en')
Mar  2 10:33:08 WARNING[245776]: chan_sip.c:495 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries
exceeded on call 52eddc727acc6c5777e7ce1a002e5937 at 216.234.116.177 for seqno
102 (Response)
Mar  2 10:33:08 WARNING[294929]: file.c:521 ast_readaudio_callback: Failed
to write frame
  == Spawn extension (sip, 74928, 3) exited non-zero on 'SIP/74928-bef7'
Mar  2 10:33:09 WARNING[245776]: chan_sip.c:495 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries
exceeded on call 52eddc727acc6c5777e7ce1a002e5937 at 216.234.116.177 for seqno

Mar  2 10:33:14 WARNING[245776]: chan_sip.c:495 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries
exceeded on call 52eddc727acc6c5777e7ce1a002e5937 at 216.234.116.177 for seqno
102 (Request)

And outgoing calls to FWD would die after a second or two as well.

David
