Note that you can set the user agent name in your sip.conf file instead:

    [general]
    useragent = Asterisk PBX

StanaPhone are not blocking Asterisk, by the way;  They just don't know
how to keep their service up for more than ten minutes at a time.

Right now, my link to their service is alternating between "UNREACHABLE"
and "LAGGED (2481 ms)".  I mostly see "UNREACHABLE" and a lot of 403
errors, as reported by the original poster.
