Grandstream can't do it, either.

With my current Siemens Octophone F20 I can do:

a) dial numbers, e.g. "12345"
b) lift up the handset
c) I'm connected and can talk

Basically a) and b) are switchable, just as you please.

Instead of b) "lift up the handset" I could also do b) "press the 
speakerphone button".
