I don't know what a TPX 100 card is, but if it's anything like a
X100P then the "phone" socket is only for use as an "emergency";
If a power failure kills the server then the "phone" will be
directly connected to the "line" until the power is restored.
If you need to connect a phone to your Asterisk box then you will need
a FXS device, such as a Sipura SPA-2000, or a proper IP phone.
