I have ran numerous tests - examining the SIP headers each time. I'm not
convinced that 'externip=' does anything at all.
With or without externip set in sip.conf, the headers send to my SIP client
(with nat=yes) will look exactly the same... no difference at all.
I would expect the Contact field to contain this externip .. but it doesn't
Contact: <sip:*98 at 192.168.1.102>
Is anyone using EXTERNIP= in sip.conf? If so, what exactly does it do?
Thanks
Ryan
