[Asterisk-Users] This newbie gives up for now - sadly

I initially encountered a similar problem. This was related to NAT 
being turned on in asterisk. Also I spent some time messing with 
authentication issues. I find the best way to solve such problems is with 
ethereal/tcpdump. Have you tried this?
