[Asterisk-Users] couple basic questions

My appologies as I did not read all of your message and I should.  You are 
correct in that you need some understanding and we can't teach linusx on 
this list but we can give pointers where to look.  Be they books or other 
lists where such questions are better asked.  Linux is a great operating 
system but it can be very discouraging if you have no idea where to start 
and are thrown at it.
