Points well taken. People who ask "will * work with whatever distro" don't
seem to
yet grasp the difference between kern and distro; plus which really matters
in the context
of hardware. So it would seem to me diffiucult to get a TDM/IP device
working on linux
till one no longer needs to ask "will it work on this distro".
