Hi,

Progress report and question.

The phone boots and gets a dhcp lease.  /var/log/messages show DHCPREQUEST 
and DHCPACK for ip and mac address.
On the phone, I manually selected Alternate TFTP server = yes
The console on the phone shows that is has the correct ip info and tftp 
server address.

In dhcpd.conf I have these two lines to designate the tftp server:
next-server 10.1.200.250;
filename "/2/P0S302000.bin"

The tftp directory has the following:
OS79XX.TXT
dialplan.xml
P0S30200.bin
SIP00115C93B788.cnf - this is the mac address of the phone I am testing 
with.
SIPDefault.cnf

I still do not see download activity in /var/log/messages.  Is something 
missing?
