[Asterisk-Users] Is g.711 supported for transcoding in *?

And people wonder if the flamers are here to make the list interesting?
Seems this would be the first place to look.

When I use google on the term "g.711" the second page listed is the
wikipedia. This page tells you it is mu-law or a-law.

Under the features page on asterisk.org, I see codecs support...

A-law

This is a reminder that just being a noobie isn't like being on base in
a game of tag. In real life, there are no bases. You should always do a
minor amount of research on your own, or grow a very thick skin of
asbestos as the rest of us able to use google toast you regularly.
