[Asterisk-Users] European and/or US DTMF Tones?

I ask because of seeing proprietary hardware such as Dialogic's
trumpting about howthey can detect European & US DTMF. In the past I've
had cheap voicemail cards that couldn't pick up DTMF from UK callers
across the pond.
