[Asterisk-Users] Does * machine need a sound board for MOH?

Rich, et al:

I have MOH working on C7960's (and ATA 186's and Pingtel Xpressas and
softphones) just fine. I am using a late August CVS of asterisk and
mpg123 version 0.59r.

The one thing that I found needed to be done on the 7960's to make MOH
work properly was to disable comfort noise (RFC2833?) by doing
"enable_vad: 0" in my SIPDefault.cnf file for the phones. That feature
seems to be incompatible with MOH. Once I did that everything was great.

Good luck with it!

Dave
