Yes, I did a long time ago. I don't use chan_modem anymore, I moved up
to chan_capi.

I _think_ I fixed it by putting:

group=1         ; group=1,2,3,9-12
msn=0
incomingmsn=123456789,123456780
device => /dev/ttyI0
device => /dev/ttyI1

in modem.conf, and using:

dial("Modem/g1/${EXTEN}")

This way, chan_modem would figure out by itself which channel is
available, and use that.
