This is the setup

SIP--(nic1)Asterisk1(nic2)==(nic1)Asterisk2(zap)--e1pri/telco

The measured values came from nic2 of Asterisk1 by having iptraf measuring the
iax port 4569 using "Statistical Breakdown by TCP/UDP port" after having
added the port to the portrange in iptraf config. Promiscuous mode off.

I'm quite sure nothing but the iax udp traffic was measured.
