Hi Gary,

Xten will is expected to release 'X-USB' very shortly. It will be bundled
with our X-Lite SIP Softphone [free product] and it works well with X-PRO
our commercial SIP Softphone.

X-USB is a USB device that connects to a regular telephone and communicates
with Xten software running on a PC or laptop. I believe this will provide
the functionality you are looking for re: ringing a phone, switching lines
using flash etc.

Unfortunately I do not have any additional information that I can provide
other than the pricing for the unit, including the X-Lite software,  should
be below $30.

Hi folks,

well the easiest soft phone I have found (from this list) is the x-ten.
great little piece of software.

BUT, on a windows machine I need to plug in a USB device and find the
software to drive it which can actually use a normal handset (similar
to the s100p) but can be used to actually generate/answer the calls and
actually rings when a call is received.


Any ideas ??
